Update 24.9.2024: Benchrest class award ceremonies
This general information is based on the info letter sent to international federations (IF) and member federation (MF) early 2024. All info is subject to change. The next update will be done in February 2025 when preliminary entries has sent to the LOC.
Benchrest air rifle and rimfire events will be organised in the 25 metre and 50 metre ISSF compatible range with WRABF and ERABSF accepted paper targets and electronic scoring machines. A sufficient number of wind flags will be provided in the range.
The venue will be equipped with 40 sturdy heavy plywood shooting benches.
Air rifle classes will be executed first and then rimfire events. The draft schedule is presented according to the standing Official Rule Book 2013 – 2021. One discipline will be organised in one day. The draft schedule is downloadable from this page.
In the primary schedule planning each match will have four 40-lanes relays which totally means 12 matches and maximum number of 160 shooters a day. It is estimated to be a sufficient capacity for both the ERABSF European championships and the WRABF World Cup including junior shooters. If a class will have less than 120 entries, the number of relays/rounds may be lowered. It will also mean that allocating “free” lanes to participating countries may be limited to full relays.
The daily program starts at 09:00 o’clock which will be the time for the first match shot. If the number of relays (matches) in some class is smaller than four, the starting time for the first relay may be postponed. This will be announced in the Competition Guide and start lists.
